I’m not sure either candidate will give a traditional concession speech. The language from the Democratic Party has been just too apocalyptic to just say, “The people have spoken, we are going to approach the Trump administration with a spirit of cooperation” yada yada. We’ll probably get more of a “the people have spoken. The bastards.” type speech from Clinton. Or if not her, Obama reprising his “bitter clingers” in his farewell address. As for Trump, I think he might have a tantrum on national TV over it. Depends on how bad his loss is. If it’s a huge landslide he’ll probably just go home without saying anything. ---

It depends on how badly he loses. If he loses by a mere one or two states in close races, not only will he not give a concession speech, I predict he won’t even concede. He will sue until it works its way through the court system and meanwhile go around calling the elections rigged and probably convincing a fairly significant chunk of Americans that they are indeed rigged and rile millions of people up. If he loses significantly…maybe a few tweets. ---

There were irregularities in Florida that probably cost Gore the election, but they were the result of ineptitude rather than corruption. Nor was 2004 - the claims about Diebold were cockamamie conspiracy theories.
