[Woman finds frog in frozen veggies](http://www.kltv.com/global/story.asp?s=10758038). Just today I found a lizard who fell in a bucket and couldn’t get out. I noticed he was “ever so slightly” moving, so I figured I rescued him just in time! I picked him up by the tail, and put him on the ground and turned the hose on him to try to hydrate him a little. He was still there after a couple hours and I figured he didn’t make it. But why was he still “ever so slightly” moving? Ah! The writhing colony of maggots in his head! :eek: ---

I found a slug in my frozen raspberries once. And by found I mean that I realized that it didn’t have the same texture on my tongue as the rest of the raspberries. I put the slug on the side of the bowl, and kept eating. ---

I once worked in a pea factory where we were paid a bonus per creature to pick them out from the conveyor belt. We used to collect the odd insect on the way to work. Someone smuggled a sheep’s head in once, plonked it on the belt and tried to claim per maggot - unsuccessfully. Thereafter people got frisked going in to work. 😃 ---
