Well, they could deport him to Canada, where he could then claim his rights as a US citizen were being denied and so give the US a reason to invade and annex Canada. It’s brilliant! ---

Except if they deport him after stripping him of US citizenship, he couldn’t claim that Canada was denying him his rights as a US citizen; he wouldn’t be one anymore. ---

How can Trump fail to be at least somewhat victorious? So, SpaceX will keeps some contracts, but loses others. Maybe Tesla’s market share plunge, in Europe, will stabilize. But that’s not victory over Trump. I find it hard to believe the Trump administration won’t try to arrest him. That’s what dictators do to the biggest non-compliant oligarchs who rebel. And it could even be that Musk will be guilty as charged. He must be guilty of something! Then what does Canada do when the U.S. makes the extradition request? It probably will be in their national interest to honor it. Trump ahead. ---
