Regarding, **pseudotriton ruber ruber** and this [thread](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=407718&page=1&pp=50) , should he be commented on? If he was banned, Dopers would not be allowed to comment about him. He is contractually banned, granted it is voulentary, but he is banned by the contract he agreed to. So, should we talk about him? Is it wrong if he can’t defend himself? Sgt Schwartz ---

Doesn’t sound like he was “banned” so much as he was “paid not to post anymore”, if I’m catching the drift here right (that’s an awful long thread I’m not about to read through). ---

He is actually going thru **Tris** so that **pseudotriton ruber ruber** doesn’t get access to his personal info. If there’s more to it than that, please elaborate. I’m curious myself. ---

It’s considered bad form to attack someone who isn’t capable of defending themselves (ie they were banned.) **PRR** doesn’t quite fit that model, but I think any attempt to goad him into replying would be crass at the very least. We have never been prohibited from talking about the Banned, just kicking them. ---
