Live and work overseas. It’s just so complicated (esp with me & my husband in different fields). But if I could wave a magic wand and make all immigration, employment, apartment-finding/logisitical obstacles dissapear, it’s what I’d like to do. ---

I would wish for the ability to play the piano very well. I’m a lifelong musician and decent guitarist. I’ve been playing guitar and singing in bands since I was in my teens. Meanwhile, I’m a “Neil Young-style” pianist. That is, I can chord, but I do it ass-backwards, playing chords with my right hand and playing a one-note bass with my left. I can also do blues riffs and tinkle around a bit in most keys. In other words, I know just enough to know how much I can’t really do, which is why sitting down at the piano is so frustrating for me. Especially frustrating is the fact that I absolutely can’t play one rhythm with my left hand and another with my right. Simply cannot do it. I take immense pleasure from playing guitar, in both formal and informal situations, and I would take just as much from being able to sit down at a piano and play a song by ear and have it actually sound like something. They say, though, that the older you are, the harder it is to pick up a new instrument. I don’t know if I’ll ever have the discipline to do the amount of practicing it would take to play piano well. So that’s my wish…to just have the magic wand waved so I’ll already be there! ---

If the winning the lottery thing is too “genie wish-esque” then I’d say my thing would be that my artwork would become massively popular and successful and make me rich enough to travel the world and learn to hang glide and all those other things I’d do with my lottery winnings. ---

I want to pack up and move to LA. I’m doing it next year, but I wouldn’t mind doing it sooner, if the logistics of it could work out. ---

If you suffer from a chronic illness, or have a loved one suffering from one, there is certainly nothing of greater value on this earth than one’s health. When one has their health, it is taken for granted. But when it’s lost, you’d give up your very last possession to get it back. Great answer.
