If I had a choice, I’d go with reincarnation. It’d be like living forever, but without the madness. (Hey, for all I know, I have and will be reincarnated. I sure hope so.) ---

I wouldn’t want to live forever, but I would love to relive a day over and over, untill I decide to move on, like in the movie “Groudhog Day”. ---

I wouldn’t mind living forever, provided my attitude about the world stayed young. I get so tired of old-timers who go on about how things were swell 50, 60, 70 years ago; imagine if they were talking about centuries. Reminds of Hob Gadling from the “Sandman” stories. Dream of the Endless gave him the gift of eternal youth back in the 14th century, so he’s still alive today. Hob gets periods of dark nostalgia and anguish over the loss of loved ones, and does consider death. However, everytime he’s offered it by Death, his response is “No thanks; dying is a mug’s game.” I have to agree; I’d rather be bored and sad, than dead. Must be my atheism talking. Since there’s nothing for me in the “afterlife”, I’d rather this one go on forever. ---

I don’t know if I’d want to live forever. _Tuck Everlasting_ and the third book (I think…it’s been a while) of _Gulliver’s Travels_ kinda put me off that… If I could end it when I wanted to, like Arnold Winkelried suggested, that would be something I might appreciate. And if I could keep the same body, too…then, why not try it? ---

Remember in “Interview with the Vampire,” Tom Cruise’s character says, “I’m going to give you the choice I never had.” Cool, huh? Anyway, NO WAY! 50, 60 years is more than plenty for me. And reincarnation would definately suck bad. Could you imagine going through adolescence more than once?
