A bit about the changeover from PCMag: [Kaspersky Antivirus Replaced by UltraAV? Here’s Why, and What You Can Do | PCMag](https://www.pcmag.com/news/kaspersky-antivirus-replaced-by-ultraav-heres-why-and-what-you-can-do?test_uuid=04IpBmWGZleS0I0J3epvMrC&test_variant=A)
And a forum discussing the inherrent problems therein: [Unauthorized charge by ULTRAAV after purchasing Kaspersky AV subscription - Kaspersky: Basic, Standard, Plus, Premium - Kaspersky Support Forum](https://forum.kaspersky.com/topic/unauthorized-charge-by-ultraav-after-purchasing-kaspersky-av-subscription-55087/)

I would look for a way to remove stored payment information, like CC numbers or banking info.

That strikes me as more important information to deny them if you truly intend to never do business with them.

Definitely, a good suggestion.

Thanks.

@Czarcasm

Provided information that appears I would be charged if their email was ignored.

I’m glad it didn’t go into my Spam folder.

If they really did pass on your credit card info to another company, then yes, they are evil, and in no way to be trusted with your computer security.

I hope by now you’ve locked your cc.

I deactivated and uninstalled K, years ago. They still have your info maybe.

That’s an excellent idea.

I have a handful of auto pay bills that use my cc. They’re paid by mid-month.

I can lock my cc for a few days just before and after the unwanted, renewal date.

I’m trying to remember. Kaspersky might have been paid with my mom’s American Express. That was canceled after her passing. Any subscription trying to renew with that card will be very frustrated and disappointed.

Thanks
