I’m an alien too, just not permanent. Which I guess means my antennae are detachable. 🙂 My “ask the” threads? I just started an [Ask the Medical Technologist](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=461649) thread, which is chugging along nicely. I think that the only area in which I have unique expertise on this board would be extracting venom from snakes, but I don’t think anyone would be interested in an Ask The (former) Venom Lab technician thread. ---
