Was there a thread on the deaths in Bali from methanol poisoning? Six (or maybe 7) at last count, mainly young, foreign tourists staying at a hostel. ---

[Update: methanol and drugged drinks ruled out](https://abcnews.go.com/amp/International/wireStory/7-foreign-tourists-hospitalized-fiji-poisoned-alcohol-illicit-116896350) But no answer yet. I’m still expecting it to be bad coconut milk (here’s the most obscure piece of trivia you’ll read today: Bob Hope originally started as half of a vaudeville duo, but his partner died after eating tainted coconut cream pie, launching Hope’s solo career) ---
