I initially thought that category was a figurative red herring, because it was heavily overpopulated and I tried it first with HEAD and BALLOON instead of VELVET and CROSS and didn’t get the one away message. ---

Ah. I didn’t even catch that. I mean, I saw one of the references, but am apparently not schooled enough to find the others. It just played as a straight, normal puzzle for me, yellow first, purple second, then blue and green. ---

Yeah, almost reverse rainbow for me. I tried to figure out which they considered easier for the yellow category, and guessed the green. Purple was weirdly easy—I was shocked it was a purple when I put it down. ---

I’ve heard hangdog, but it wouldn’t be a word I’d readily use. Today (Sat 2/15) was tough. I didn’t make any mistakes, but it took a while to even get yellow, then a _long_ time and shuffling to work out the rest. Purple last, of course.
