Okay, fair enough. Though the category reads “ATTRACTIONS _ **ICONICALLY** _ DIFFERENT FROM THEIR ORIGINAL FORMS.” I would argue that the adverb is a pretty big stretch on that one. ---

When I was a kid we had an old knick knack model of the Statue of Liberty that was a few decades older than I am that was the original copper color. It made me very confused when I was young. ---

On my first read through, I thought, “That might be Alicia,” when I got to KEYS, so I didn’t fall for the red herring. But I’m still not sure who KING is actually referring to. But I also saw blue almost immediately, so it was easy enough to determine that was the last word remaining for purple. ---

I got purple because I saw KING, WONDER and LEGEND and thought the connection was phenom and guessed KEYS also fit ---

For me it was blue, purple, yellow, green. I had no trouble almost immediately seeing three out of the four purples, but one was evading me. It’s one of those categories that if you laterally think out other possible uses of the words, once you get a couple, the others fall in place. In my case, LEGEND and WONDER for some reason evoked John Legend and Stevie Wonder right away – I have a feeling I had scrambled the words so they were side by side, so that helped. And KING was the fourth one I was having trouble figuring out. And I’m still unsure which King is being referenced, as there’s so many. Carole sounds like the best fit, but my mental category wasn’t as specific as the one given in the category. I just thought “musicians.” ---

I only got the yellow one. For some reason, I couldn’t get my mind off of BOWL - Orange Bowl, Rose Bowl, Cotton Bowl, and… nada. The purple one Blank Candy had me stumped. I give up too easily in this game. ---

Today (3/14) was a slam dunk for me, as I got Yellow, Blue, and Purple quickly. However, I doubt if I would have ever gotten Green. I obviously don’t shop at the right stores, where charging cables are located near the register. Or maybe I just haven’t seen them. ---
