IV is a giant pain in the ass to do sterile and properly, AND even then you can still get an abcess :eek::smack: I long ago decided its just too risky, fuck that I do drugs to enjoy myself not risk death and disfigurement. ---

While I don’t mean to minimize the young man’s medical condition (unilateral facial swelling is Bad), I was expecting something more like [this](http://www.medicaljournals.se/acta/content/files/web/3561-web-images/3561fig2_opt.jpeg)(necrosis from cutaneous cowpox caught from a pet rat) or [this](http://ars.sciencedirect.com/content/image/1-s2.0-S019096220300762X-gr1.jpg)(housecat scratch that got infected) or even [this](http://www.cmaj.ca/content/183/15/1746/F1.expansion.html)(Pyoderma gangrenosum). Er, I’m assuming that anyone who opened this thread doesn’t need a warning that linked pictures are graphic and gross, right? ---
