If you were a fan of Babylon 5

“I am called Valen, and we have much work ahead of us.”

“Vir, there is a terrible truth: As one accumulates power, one loses friends. One only has those who wish to use you, and those you wish to use. And yet, in all of this, you have somehow managed to walk through the corridors of power and not be touched. I can only assume you have not been paying attention. And still, the hideous truth is, you are the closest thing I have to a friend. I’m as shocked and dismayed by this as you are, but there it is. I need a friend, Vir, and I need a patriot, and you are both. Will you help me, please?”

“Oh, and you mentioned wondering what my pleasure threshold is. I just recently found out. … I don’t have one. Have a very, very nice day, G’Kar.”

“Abrahamo Lincolni?”

“Narns, humans, Centauri, we all do what we do for the same reason: because it seemed like a good idea at the time.”

“You weren’t the only one touched by the Vorlons.”

Many of my favorites have already been mentioned, but this is one that tickled my fancy:

My father used to say “My shoes are too tight, but it doesn’t matter, because I have forgotten how to dance”. I never understood him at the time. But now, Vir, my shoes are too tight, and I have forgotten how to dance.

“What’s next on the list?”
“Sector 87/20/42. At least a dozen ships have reported seeing something rather godlike in the area, and since neither you nor I were there, it must be one of the First Ones.”
“You are having delusions of grandeur again.”
“Well, if you’re gonna have delusions, you may as well go for the really satisfying ones.”

“I can only assume I am paying off Karma at a vastly accelerated rate.”

Damn, this thread is gonna trigger a rewatch - of the first four seasons and Sleeping in Light anyway.

“I stopped looking into mirrors.”

“Zoot, zoot.”

Here, hit all the high points in a few minutes:

Upon seeing ghostly images walking the halls of Babylon 5, Sinclair rubs his eyes and mutters, “I must be tired.”

The entire elevator scene with G’kar and Londo. (Where they are stuck after the bombing and think they might die.) I tried to pick a quote, but the whole thing was too excellent to choose.

Yes… sadly (for my BluRay drive) I just finished upgrading my NAS from 2 TB to 6… and now I guess it’s time for all those B5 DVDs to live on in my home media server!

-Raises fist in rage to thread-

How dare you make me watch something GOOD again rather than endless videos of people scratching their heads trying to explain just how freaking wrong about basic facts certain people are!

Back to topic, a quote that indicates my irritation and why -

Susan Ivanova : I’m in the middle of fifteen things, all of them annoying.

“Issue the statement, I will sign my name… but not on the same page.” G’Kar

The “One Moment of Perfect Beauty.”

The dream Sheridan has while captured aboard the Strieb ship. “What are you doing here?” Sheridan says to Kosh.

“I have always been here.”

“How will this end?”
“In fire.”

I’m all about the Vorlons.

Londo: "Actually…(pause – turns around, walks a few steps) now that you mention it … "
(pause, turns back around, looks straight at Morden, showing a remote in his hand; smirks)

When Londo paused after “actually” I just knew…

Any scene with Londo and G’Kar is awesome.

My favorite episode was the one where they were stuck in an elevator together.

I love how they built up Morden being in control and calm. Seeing him freak out was amazing.

That entire scene and its epilogue rocked. From Londo warning Morden not to move, to the button pushing, to the little wave. So many things were semi-paid off in just a couple of minutes.
