Being the pirate captain I totally would. And just to make things interesting I’d make my crew dress up as different archetypes. One would dress as an astronaught. Another would be a cowboy. Another a robin Hood looking dude. Another an egyptian pharoah. And so on. ---

I would think the [Luffy D. Monkey](http://www.freewebtown.com/OnePieceNorge/_luffy.jpg)look would be more practical for a pirate, on account of you need freedom of movement as well as protection from the sun (hence the straw hat) ---

If I were a modern day pirate, I would dress like a Hell’s Angel. Only without the logo, because it’s copywritten, and I would get killed for displaying it. I would substitute the Angel’s logo with a Jolly roger in the middle of my jacket. Top rocker: Pirate. Bottom rocker: U.S.A. ---
