# If your cell phone might cause brain tumors, what would you do?

If this were actually true, then it also wouldn’t matter if someone sitting next to you was using one, or someone in the next room, or on the sidewalk out front, or in a car driving by… It basically says that we need to eliminate all RF in some arbitrary range of frequencies.

This. If it doesn’t matter how the phone is used, unless the government outright bans their use, then the only answer to “What would you do?” is “die”.

I love fighting the hypothetical.

What if your laptop caused sterility? Or testicular cancer? What if electric cars curved your spine, somehow?

What if the magnets in land line headsets caused brain tumors?
