Major sucker-punch if you ask me. The thread’s been closed for over 30 hours. NOW you respond, **C K Dexter Haven**? My thread was so interesting that an ADMIN responded?
An ADMIN bypassed the locked status to respond. But I can’t respond to the response?
SO FUCKING WRONG ON SO MANY LEVELS, IT MAKES MY HEAD SPIN!

I agree with you, but…
I would take a deep breath and a little break for a few hours. I don’t mean to be patronizing at all, it’s just that you seem to be really worked up at the moment (quite justifiably so, IMHO), and maybe a bit of a break to calm down might help.
And anyway, the mods are generally sensible folks, and if you give them some time, they’ll do the right thing. Hopefully.

When a thread is closed, it’s CLOSED. That means you can’t respond. That’s why it’s closed. The concept isn’t hard.
In this particular instance, since the point of the thread seemed to be a misreading of what I was saying, I exercised a Moderator’s privilege of making a comment in a closed thread. It doesn’t happen often, but it is one of the powers of a moderator.
You don’t like it, tough luck. My heart bleeds for you, life is SO unfair.
