In another thread, in another forum, it was suggested that a goal for the next ten years be 0% ignorance. Has any mortal been free of it? Can anyone ever be? Or was the poster just ignorant? * * * Zymurgist ---

Sorry, Carl, but I don’t know what you’re talking about. Can you fill me? I seem to be a little clueless over here. I’m not aware of any thread like the one that you mention. I don’t think I know what’s going on around here. I really feel like I’m in the dark on this. ---

See “the next great project” in GD…Ignorance is not knowing. About anything. Fortunatly, it is cure able. For instance I, being computer illerate, am ignorant of the workings of PC’s, as I was about the internet I got my WebTv. No longer am I ignorant of the WWW, And having found Cecil’s site, I expect my ignorance to decline. Could it be that the poster is, as is many, ignorant of the meaning of ignorant. Many confuse it with the incurable,stupidity. ---

Possibly in reference to the site’s motto, “Fighting ignorance since 1973 (it’s taking longer than we thought)”. 🙂 ---
