# 'Ignore thread' feature: in vB 3.5 maybe?

I know there’s no official ‘ignore thread’ feature in vBulletin Version 3.0, did they add it to 3.5? I had a devil of a time trying to find a simple feature list on the vB web site, with no luck.

If it is in 3.5, I’d like to request upgrading to take advantage of that feature.

I just took a gander at a demo set-up of version 3.5.3, and none of the options listed in the administrative set-up section described an “ignore thread” feature for any level of user. I may have missed it, but the options are normally pretty straightforward.

If you’ve seen it before, it’s possible that you saw a vBulletin installation modified by a third-party program.

Thanks for checking that out. Not sure why you took a goose with you, though… 😉

I haven’t actually seen it, but I did see hacks people made to shoehorn the feature into 3.0.x installations. Of course, I’m not going to request that be used.
