# Ignored chores in the MMP

Bailey’s initial rehab consult on Friday morning went well, and I’m relieved to learn that she seems to be experiencing more discomfort than true pain. No pain meds were recommended, but I might be adding a new supplement to her regime. I plan to also start a 6-8 week course of rehab sessions (1 session a week).

After bringing the doggy back home I turned around almost immediately to head to my BFF’s, so we (and her hubby) could go to the gem and jewelry show. I found a very cheap bling-y watch and a very cheap bling-y ring for wearin’ on stage, got some earrings for my BFF as her birthday gift, and wound up buying a piece of nice/fine jewelry for myself. One of the vendors was selling Hawaiian jewelry, and I fell for this white-gold-and-diamond wave pendant:

It was a fun afternoon, and by the time I got home I only had about 90 minutes to kill before it was time to head to my show (well, my guest spot at a friend’s show 🙂 ). That was such a blast! Here’s a pic of me on stage that a friend in the audience took:

This weekend I volunteered to help out with a proposal. (Yeah, I’m kinda slow to learn sometimes.) I worked 8.5 hours yesterday, and am on track to work even longer today. Right now I’m at the end of a lunch break; I should probably get back to things.
