# Ignoring a Moderator

In general, I have great respect for all the Mods here … in some cases a tremendous amount of respect. But there is one in particular who I think is a waste of oxygen on the planet. I really don’t want to be reminded of his existence. Is it possible to “ignore” a mod?

Why would you want to ignore the Referee or the Umpire?

No, you can’t put a moderator on ignore. And moderators can’t put posters on ignore.

Since this question has been answered, and the rest of the OP’s post is better suited to the Pit, I’m going to close this.

I would remind the OP that it is not permitted to insult other posters, and it is not allowed to discuss who is on your ignore list outside the Pit. Since anyone who has seen the Pit thread knows who your remarks are directed out, your post is in violation of the rules. Since it’s not explicit, however, I won’t issue a warning.
