Ignoring all birth certificates, which is your closest ancestor who can prove American citizenship?

I have done considerable genealogy and the latest any of my direct ancestors could have come to the US would be an Elizabeth Shropshire who showed up around 1850. While she says on the census that she was born in England it is far from clear when she came to the US.

Several great-greats…… were here well before the revolutionary war. Conveniently for my research they mostly moved to eastern Kentucky about 1800 and never left.
