# IIRC: 1 answer should do

I’ve been reading these boards for years and I think I know most of the other acronyms, but IIRC … I’ve been ignoring it for a while and garnering the overall meaning from the rest of the sentence. Then I started thinking … (something) in related chats. Then it didn’t always make sense.

I checked FAQs. I searched the boards for explanation. A top result off google says:

IIRC If I Recall/Remember Correctly  
IIRC If I Really Cared  
IIRC If It Really Counts  
IIRC Image and Identity Research Collective  
IIRC International Internet Recruiting Consultants

Which of the first three is it? Guessing #1.

On this board, I don’t think I’ve ever seen it used _other_ than as “If I remember correctly.”

No, you don’t get a prize for guessing correctly!
