Indy is very arrogant so there is some smugness there, plus he’s relieved that they didn’t get caught, and I think he kind of laughed that he’d gotten away with it. Indy speaks a number of languages, including German so I don’t think he’d have a problem fooling Hitler. ---

Just a few thoughts… The cameras were gone after the big lightshow. Maybe they went to heaven too. It was an expresseion of relief. How the Hell could Nazis dig and operate in the British Colony of Egypt without having Britain throw them out? ---

From what I remember, submarines had little sucess in the mediterian because it’s so shallow(in comparison to the atlantic). Not to mention that big British Naval Base at Gibralter. -Why were the Germans using said submarines to transport cargo? Subs aren’t particulary good at that sort of thing. -The Germans had nothing like that cool flying Wing in 1936, and if they did, why the hell would they be using it to transport cargo? The movie has a number of historical problems, but it’s still a cool movie, so let’s drop it here. ---
