The worst one we’ve seen was called Murder Mountain from Netflix. At first, it looks like it is about a young man who went missing out in Humboldt, the marijuana region of California. It…kind of is, but it ends up being almost all about the marijuana growing community of the region and you can tell the mystery was not enough to fill the hours they wanted to fill. Hugely disappointing.
I love true-crime docs and would give Murder Mountain a major “avoid” review for anyone who likes interesting cases. My wife and I hated it.
