So that food court’s out. Hopefully brownie55’s out pounding the pavement now to select a restaurant for us. I know he’ll consult with Zagat’s, meticulously scrutinize each establishment’s bill of fare and sample the chef’s signature offerings before making a selection. ---

Funny that my name came up. Woe is me, but they scheduled a makeup class I have to be in for Wednesday at 1. The insufferable so-and-so’s. I am going to have to bow out. I was looking forward to meeting some real Dopers. I feel cheated by this silly need to eat and have a roof. Sorry. ---

My friends and I have always just been completely amazed at how disillusioning it is for people to get to Chinatown and expect something similar in size to NYC or something and then see what DC’s Chinatown actually is. ---
