Encouraging people to trust right wing members of their family is setting them up to suffer at best ostracism. There’s an epidemic of homelessness among teenage homosexuals because their right wing parents dump them on the street. ---

If someone bends over backwards to pretend that supporting fascism isn’t that bad, then the fascists have no reason to _stop_. And on top of that they are likely to regard it as a concession that they are in the right, since you are “obviously” unable to come up with a valid argument against them. ---
