Are you a “bad” person for going to Narnia? Probably not. But you are probably worse of a person _now_ for even wondering. ---

We are going to see it today, I recently re-read the whole series and I’m also very excited to see it! While there are plenty of “adult” books I enjoy, with the exception of _Lonesome Dove_ , I haven’t gotten half as much pleasure from them as from the Harry Potter series. I have been re-reading those as well because I’m obsessed with Snape. I manage a hospital, and one of my recently hired staff came in on me at lunch in the office and saw me reading HP. He’s about 10 years younger than me and all he could say was “how cute!”. ---

Hell, I’m in my 50s with no minor children, and I’d love to see it. Just because a movie is marketed or designed for kids, that’s no reason for adults to avoid it. I love animated films, even a good kid’s film. ---

There are some kid’s movies I don’t see because I don’t think I will enjoy them, but I wouldn’t ever skip a movie I was interested in simply because it looks like a kid’s movie. I’ve never known anyone who thought there was anything weird about that. ---

Man, the googler ads on this thread are disturbing. “Pampers Feel and Learn”? Ewww. Seriously, I see nothing wrong with seeing the film by youirself as an adult. I bought the book to reread it, in preparation for seeing the film. ---
