Why would you want to be friends with someone that plays mindgames with you? You did right but now the challenge is to keep your word. if you go back to things being the old way (whatever that may be) you are only cementing the idea in her head that her actions work. Personally, I would end this friendship. Sounds like touble in the making. ---

If it weren’t for the fact that I’m pretty sure she doesn’t do online dating after seeing what happened to me and my ex, I’d swear you were “more than friends” with one of my closest online friends. I mean, down to the cancer thing. You’re not a bad friend. If she was going to disappear, she should’ve contacted you–if she couldn’t do that, it wouldn’t’ve mattered whether you emailed her or not. BTW, I just read _Ender’s Game_. So now I get your screen name. I just thought it was neat before… ---

**Angel** , I’d actually just finished the book (_Speaker for the Dead_, the sequel) when I registered :). Anyway, yeah, we don’t have much of a relationship beyond this pseudodating, so I doubt anything will last if we pseudobreakup. Best prefix in the world, pseudo- is. 😃 ---

Don’t play games…set guidelines! Find out what she wants and expects…if you can live with it, then do. If you can’t live with the expectations…move it on along. I was once told that it is nothing for me to worry about if he ‘disappears’ for a few days (2-3) without me hearing from him…he knows im a worrier, so if it goes beyond that of me not hearing from him, then I worry. We can both live with that…although…lately…he’s been pushing the limits! 😉 ---
