For the longest time, the family cat, [Blue](http://homepage.mac.com/mactechg4/.Pictures/Icanhazcatnip.jpg), has shown _NO_ interest in catnip, in fact, it _bored_ him, he basically ignored it, no matter how many times I put the pot of fresh catnip in front of him… [_NOW_](http://homepage.mac.com/mactechg4/.Pictures/Kittydrugs.jpg), however, he [can’t get enough](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t4YnuPwQlIc) I’m a bad kitty daddy, pushing kittydrugz on my poor, defenceless cat 😉 ---

You’re such an enabler! You ought to be ashamed! …Ashamed that you didn’t catch on sooner to your cat’s obviously superior tastes in catnip, that is! You were probably offending his sensibilities with all that inferior stuff. 😉 Cute kitty, anyhow. 😃 ---

Y’know, I’ve owned 5 cats in my life, and NONE have displayed even a half of an inkling of an affection for the 'nip. Maybe I should try fresh… Joe ---

Usually kittens aren’t interested in it, but when they hit adulthood, it suddenly starts to be attractive. However, there’s quite a large percentage of adult cats who never get into it. Blue seems to be trying to make up for lost time in that clip. ---

All our cats like catnip to some extent, but our calico freaks out for it, and I mean _freaks out._ She wails like a wild eyed dope fiend when I get the box out. When she gets her fix she rolls and flops like she’s being electrocuted, and her eyes roll around in her head like she’s having a seizure. It’s a little disturbing. If the other cats even try to come close to her stash, she’ll go into Bruce Lee whoopass mode on all of them simulatanously. ---
