Well, I’m bitter about my boyfriend’s relationship with his ex. Too long to explain here, but I’ve been in a BAD mood for the past few days. grrr… stupid exes. ---

He moved to Florida (I live in Pennsylvania). He always promised that he’d stay in touch with me because he still loved me. He hasn’t spoken to me since June. Yes, I know that on many occasions I said I couldn’t stand him, that he was annoying and immature. I know I’ve had a new boyfriend since July/August or so. I know I’ve probably brought it upon myself, but… Fuck him. ☹ ---

I am bitter too. I had a thread about it very recently in MPSIMS with a great title that got killed before it stood up. I am bitter about that too. I am bitter because of my lonneliness. And also bitter because it seems everyone else has someone except me. I am becoming a niihilist. (((Welfy, Broken Doll and FPK))) And FPK, I understand your feelings all too well. But you just must realize that Allah or the IPU has different plans for you. I am going through that right now. It really hurts, and everyhting I do makes me think of what I could have had. No, I’m not bitter. I just need a lot of time to heal. All of us do. ---

Speaking as a sour, melancholy, though not particularly bitter, old married guy, I can offer nothing else to this discussion, so I will submit my favorite joke from _Hee Haw._ Junior: Caught my wife with my best friend. Thanks everyone for the bitterness they’ve let out here. It’s always nice to have a good bitch once in a while. At the moment I’m very bitter about no one liking me because I’m supposedly weird-looking [hey, a shaved head isn’t weird…], I have weird friends and I wear weird clothes. Normally I wouldn’t give a toss about people not liking me, because honestly, who cares? They are just people. But it’s been going on too long and after a while you start to believe that you are worthless and no one is ever going to love you for what you are. _sigh_… And to the people who asked, yes, being surrounded by sluts is very bad when everytime you see them you want to slap some sense into them. Violently… And yes, boys do suck. But they are just so darn cute sometimes… ---

dropzone i don’t think that life in Australia is any less deep and meaningful than life elsewhere. I could get real mean and bitter about it too if you care to press the point 😉 I’m currently bitter about being sick. I have six million things to do and they ain’t going nowhere while I can barely sit straight in a chair and when I try to walk I fall over. In the absence of alcohol, that is no fun. Exes suck. My SO’s ex of 12 years, the woman who rang up on our wedding day just to check he was going through with it, recently had a baby by herself. She used the same name as we did for our youngest son and used a name my SO made up for one of his novels. I’m completely confident in my marriage - hey if he was gonna leave me it wouldn’t be for her but geez it pisses me off.
