# I'm a half an inch off from the universe.

Deaf in one ear. And the other ear doesn’t work very well. Take away my glasses and my hearing aid, I become Helen Keller.

I tell people my husband found me in the “As-Is” department of Goodwill.

I had that while I was detoxing off of the benzos (which took ages). It seems that stuff that messes with GABA receptors can mess that part of you up. It’s one of those things your mind self corrects, but it can get off.

Right now, though, I can do it just fine, though if I try both arms at the same time, one always automatically moves out of the way, which is interesting. And my right finger (I’m right handed.) is slightly more accurate on the exact part of the nose I hit.

YMMV but I’d be bloody careful shaving with a razor at that margin for error! :eek:
