My aunt is a Neilsen family for groceries and other consumer products. But it’s not for a week–it’s on a semi-permanent basis. She gets paid according to how long she’s done it, and the payment is points that she gets to redeem in a catalog for cool stuff. She had a upc scanner that she uses on the items when she gets them home.

I remember when a friend of mine got the Nielsen journal survey. I tried to get him to write in “Babylon 5” but he forgot.
A show that is actually intelligent and witty? Somehow Nielsen manages to miss such fares.
Yeah, I know Firefly’s been cancelled. Sigh.
What I’d love to do is just mark down Firefly as the only show of Fox’s I watched that week. I think that would effectively convey my point. The problem is that then I’d miss giving a chance to support the Sunday night lineup which is (now) the only time I watch FOX. It’s a dilly of a pickle, I tell ya.
