# I'm a Spanish-speaking mining/petrochemical engineer? My email address seems to have gotten on a list of purported Spanish-speaking mining or petrochemical engineers. Or something like that, considering all Spanish language spam I get with technical terms in the subject lines. Here’s a small sample of the subject lines: [ul] [li]Especializacion en Compresores de Gas Natural[/li][li]Mantenimiento Electrico en Atmosferas Explosivas[/li][li]API 1104 Soldadura de tuberias[/li][li]Tuberias para Combustible bajo ASME B31.4[/li][li]Tecnicas de Alineamiento de Maquinas Rotativas[/li][li]Transporte de Minerales y Lodos bajo ASME[/li][li]Especializacion en Bombas Centrifugas y Sellados[/li][li]Seguridad, Operacion de Valvulas y Dispositivos de alivio[/li][/ul] The email is from a variety of different addresses and which look like they could be companies that are trying to sell equipment. I can only read Spanish with the aid of a Spanish-English dictionary, so I’ve never bothered to actually read any of them. I assume it’s legit and not the Hispanic equivalent of a Nigerian 419 scam. Anyone else getting this? ---
