And I admit freely I have seen them all. I even own them all. I’m obviously a SW fan, and not ashamed. On the other hand, I did bristle the other day when someone called me a Trekkie. I am NOT a Trekkie. Doesn’t a Trekkie have to do more than own the movies? :mad: ---

I’m a Trekkie and only own one of the movies. On topic, I’m not a fan of _Star Wars_ at all. Saw the original three once and they were fun but that’s as far as my interest goes. ---

I loved the Ewoks, especially the movie spin-offs they inspired! Seriously! Ok, I was really young and I haven’t seen them (the spinoffs) in about 8 years, but I’m sure I would still like them… right? ---

I loved Return of the Jedi, didn’t mind the Ewoks at all. And as for “growing up” I saw Episode IV at the age of 20 and ROTJ at 26. I think ROTJ can stand equally head-and-shoulders (well, maybe figuratively) with A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back. I still think the Ewok battle could be salvaged by removing the ridiculous log traps, and adding in about a half-dozen additional scenes of Ewoks being absolutely slaughtered by Stormtroopers. They still win in the end, by virtue of outnumbering the Imperial by about a 1000:1, but at the end, the battle field is hip-deep in cute’n’fuzzy corpses. ---

Egh, I liked them okay. Yeah, they were cute, but they didn’t _act_ cute or cutesy, like Jar Jar or Prequel C3PO. I know _I_ wouldn’t want to piss off an Ewok. ---

I agree on the need for more ewok-slaughter, but the log traps were friggin cool and would work if they connected. Perhaps show lots more times when they just missed and the trappers were torn in half by the friggin lasers. ---
