# I'm a vegetarian now

But, he still eats fish! He’s not 100% vegetarian all the time! That should make you happy! :rolleyes:

I would like to say, before continuing, that **SpinneZiege** has made the right choice. The reasoning behind the choice is where I must differ.

My point is that disliking potted meat doesn’t seem like a reason to stop eating anything except potted meat. Simply because meat comes from a different part of the animal doesn’t really change much. To act as if it is unwholesome and dangerous because you don’t like it doesn’t make sense to me.

There is absolutely nothing on the list of ingredients in a can of potted meat that will harm any human being more than the pesticides, waxes, and fertilizers used on vegetables, or the alarming quantities of mercury present in seafood. The danger in the consumption of any food product is excess, much more so than partially defatted fatty beef tissue.
