I’m noticing a disturbing trend of Republicans saying they will not endorse him…but they will either go ahead and vote for him anyway or won’t say how they will vote. These are the same people who were willing to shut down the government rather than pass a routine increase on the debt ceiling, and who are now refusing to even discuss the merits of a by-all-accounts centrist supreme court nominee. I’m afraid your hopes are ill-placed on this matter. Some of them are reasonable people, but that element has been marginalized by the fundies and the rest of the whackjobs. ---

Is Trump even among the top 1000 most successful _businessmen_ in America, 1985-present? Since he has no public- or military-service record, or even a graduate degree, his biggest qualification to be president seems to be how loudly he says he WANTS to be president. ---
