Don’t read any reports, just make decisions based on what you already know. If something goes wrong, someone will bring it to your attention. Then just flip a coin and do that. If it doesn’t work, do the opposite. Surf the internet the rest of the time.
Why didn’t you make this thread in the form of a story with a poll?
I know – too tiring.
Do not return to work until you can create such a complex thread.
Having been sick at the same time you were, although not nearly as bad…I went back to work too soon by a day. Made it a few hours, decided I wasn’t actually being productive and that I’d be much better off on my sofa, napping. So I went home. The next day I was pretty much back to normal.
Glad you’re getting close, at least!
I spent 9 days in the hospital with pneumonia on intravenous antibiotics, and the rule of thumb I was given was that each hospital day required three days of recovery. I found this to be true, and it took most of a month to be back at full strength.
I am glad you are having an appropriate reaction to reading reports. Next step is to remember that you have people to read them for you and to summarize them, preferably in comic book form.
I prefer interpretive dance.
Somehow, I think I know where you worked from 2001-2009.
Yay! Good to hear you’re on the mend. Take gentle care of yourself!
