It’s been a while since I posted here, but on a whim this morning I typed in the address for the good ol’ SDMB-- I’m surprised I remembered it it’s been so long! And my password? Good grief, it took me 20 tries to finally get it! Anyway, after six days, I. Am. Back! That’s almost a whole week for you science whizzes. Fill me in on \*everything \*I’ve missed-- the Doper babies, weddings, divorces, flameouts and bannings, any new “wunderkinds” ruling the roost around here, what about new rules in the Pit, and which wacky new mod should I look out for? Is that Cecil guy still writing columns? I seem to remember entering a “2012 Celebrity Death Pool” way back when…maybe I should see how that turned out for me. I even sort of remember signing up for the “2013 Celebrity Death Pool.” Anyone know if they still do those things around here? I also remember being really active in the 2012 “Elections” forum. Glad to see they still have that forum up and running. When I was last here, Obama was just sort of entering the final days of his first term. Now he’s _well into_ entering his final days of his first term. How far we’ve come with our first black president. Now a little about me since I was last here: I flew to South Carolina and then I flew home. Man, it’s hard to believe how much has changed with me since I left. It really is amazing where life takes us. In my case, to South Carolina and back again. Anyway, that’s about it. Now what about you guys? Fill me in and don’t leave anything out. Is \*\*jarbabyj \*\*still around? (And do we still do that boldy thing with Doper names?) ---

I know that **Happy** ’ll be back. After all, he’ll be all around in the dark. He’‘ll be ever’-where–wherever you can look. Wherever there’s a thread that’s got Dopers talking, he’ll be there. Wherever there’s a spammer dropping links, he’ll be there. He’ll be the way Dopers cite when they debate; an’ he’ll be the way Dopers laugh in MPSIMS when they know it’s a joke thread. An’ when the Dopers are readin’ the stuff they post, and participatin’ in the threads that are here–why, he’ll be there too. ---
