An Air Medal is awarded upon the completion of 10 combat missions over hostile territory. It’s not too difficult to get, all that’s required is to go to an area where there is the potential to get shot at, and that’s a combat mission. I had many more than that. That LOC will go away in 90 days, but the memories of how it was gotten won’t fade so quickly. Such is life. ---
