Waitaminite, if witches and warlocks are immortal in the Bewitched universe, then why does Endora (as well as Samantha’s Uncles and other relatives of a previous generation) look older than Sam, and not the same age? And if immortal witches and warlocks are reproducing, wouldn’t that mean that the universe would eventually be overrun with them? Maybe they aren’t immortal, just very long-lived, and they age very slowly. That makes more sense. But, say Samantha was 500 years old and looked like a human in her 20s. Does that make Endora around 1000 years old, and that she had Samantha when she was around 500? Does witch / warlock childhood last for hundreds of years then? That would make the many diaper-changing years pretty unbearable. Oh wait, you’d just wriggle your nose, and diaper changed. Not so bad then, I guess. And use a magic spell to mute them through the decades-long adolescence. ---
