I find [Shockwave games](http://www.clevermedia.com) help my boredom. Those puzzles can be addictive. ---

Volunteer at a food bank, at a shelter for abused women, or a shelter for the homeless. Work night watch in your city, cook meals for the homeless, or work with your local AIDS program. Go mow lawns, clean windows or shop for the elderly and infirm. Get up and get going. Forget about yourself and start thinking of others–the source of true happiness. Try it, you’ll like it. ---

Last ime my stepson was here for a visit, he made the mistake of saying that to me. And before I could even think, the words “go clean your bedroom” spilled forth from my lips. I am one step closer to becoming my mother. 😃
