I can relate to the boredom, hard to get motivated thing. I’m not so much bored as avoiding. I recently started a new job, which is totally self-directed and involves a lot of writing. Real, grown-up writing, not the kind of self-indulgent crap I usually write. So, I can’t even start. I have a couple of general topics, but I can’t get them to gel enough to begin. I need a point to begin the process. So, instead, I’ve been letting the SDMB be my entertainment. La, la, la, la . . . ---

Yes, Bunny, YES! I have a sloped bed that our landscapers put crappy ugly stuff in. I’d been trying to fill in around it, but my mom visited this spring and said screw it all, let’s yank it all out and fill it in with something that gives a lot of coverage and will spread. Daylillies were our choice. However, the soil was bad so they didn’t spread a lot this season, and I’m realizing that I should have bought far more. So damn, yeehaw, I’d love some more daylilles. They are damn near impossible to kill so you could probably dig some up today in the 95 degree heat, leave them sit outside for a week until you boxed them up and sent them via slowest-possible mail to me, and they’d still be fine, but I hear they’ll do better if we wait until fall. So maybe we can get together in Sept or Oct (alas, I’ll miss OhDope) and do a daylilly hand off. You are such a goddess. ---

That is so excellent. These orange ones I’ve got are just taking over my flower bed near the house. And you’re right. I’m not sure if it’s really possible to kill the buggers. I was planning on digging them up in probably October once all the foliage dies back. We’ll make arrangements to do a pass off then. I’m so glad you’re taking them - I always feel guilty getting rid of a plant if I don’t have a good home for it. Anthropomorphism, I guess. 😃 ---

well, **Bunny** I just so happen to have some ‘tattoo ink’ specifically designed to do fake tatoos. How’s Howard Stern sound to ya? and I was just at a convention last weekend (worked it, got paid in stamps), so have some new stamps (I didn’t have all of them yet) and some new papers. set it up ladies. ---

Of course if you do it that way, you’ll screw up you coding. It should be: square bracket, “sub”, close square bracket, _the stuff you want subscripted_, square bracket, backslash, “sub”, close square bracket “[” b “]” stuff “[” /b “]” only without the quotes or spaces. ---

See, I thought your next question would be “How do you enbolden text?”. Hence the "b"s instead of "sub"s. Or something. There’re actually instructions around here somewhere. I’m too lazy to check. Being too lazy to check stuff, likes facts and things, is what keeps me in IMHO and MPSIMS. ---

It’s hot out. The temp only says 88 or so, but with the humidity, it feels like 102. Yes, folks, I said 102F! Too freakin’ hot. This is Michigan; we’re close to Canada. How can it be this hot here? If I got a hot cup of coffee at McDonalds, there’d be condensation on the outside of the cup once I stepped outside. That’s how hot it is. ---
