Regarding geography: yes, obviously it should have been South_west_ Asia. Do I have to sieve your posts for typos?

But who uses the term Southwest Asia (except for possibly geographers)? Middle East is more like it.

Dude, relax. This is a board for fighting ignorance, so people are gonna pick nits here. Besides, Colophon’s tone was just a playful correction. (And, personally, Southeast Asia vs Middle East is a pretty big difference.)

Your right. I was just frustrated because I was trying to be funny, rushed my post and it turned to crap. I was in Qatar for 2 years. SWA is used a lot over there…even moreso. Yes, SEA vs ME is a big difference geographically. Linguistically, no more so than someone, meaning to type you’re, typing your. I was thinking SWA but inexplicably typed SEA. Anyway, this is getting off topic and distracting to the theme of the thread. I apologize both for the typos in my post and my tart response. Sorry Colophon. Can this hijack die?
