No not financially. Well, yes financially but that isn’t what I’m writing about. I’m physically broke. I did something and strained my wrist yesterday so I’ve got some sports wrap on it to give it support and keep pressure on it. It isn’t swelling or anything, it’s just sore. And my back is sore, I need a good massage. And my allergies are acting up in this Atlanta pollen. And yeah, I’m just generally wishing I could go home and veg and sleep… ---

Ignoring all the other stuf… I’m sore, too. I’ve been loading stuff in vans for our two events…two weekends now. Then bringing them back and unloading. Not just boxes, either, but drinks and helium tanks and heavy stuff. Today I finally injured myself…bruised my hand pretty badly with the tank. It’s turning all purple. And the sucky thing is it’s really hard to see since my skin is BROWN! So I am getting little sympathy. Grrr… ---

I feel you dude (well er not in the same way you felt your bedbuddy, but you know…) I was in karate Weds, doing seriously mundane and easy stuff, not straining myself at all. My knee just started hurting. Like it needed to be cracked but wouldn’t. Then I came home and mowed the lawn and that didn’t hurt but when I sat down it still hurt. All day Thursday it hurt. But not enough to stay off it, just achy joint pain. Then I sparred in karate and I got my ass kicked and now I have a huge bruise forming on my forearm, next to some other huge bruises I got while doing yardwork. And I got my shin kicked, which doesn’t hurt for some reason (yet) but when I was putting on my shinguards I noticed how horribly disgustingly my legs are cut up from two weekends ago when I chipping pricker bushes in my yard. It looks like I walked through them with shorts on. And I noticed a big mosquito bite on TOP of one of the scratches which has now become a big ugly scabbed-over hole. But not to worry. My knee feels better. My arm doesn’t hurt. My legs stopped stinging. But my shoulders hurt because my desk chair broke and I am in a crappy chair and … I woke up with an earache!!! Fuckin’ a. I wish I was old so I could say “eh, I’m old. I’m not doing any of this stuff anymore.” But instead I’m young and I must forge ahead. So, any of you fellas find scratches and bruises on a girl sexy? 🙂 ---

I’ll join in with some financial and physical pain: The wife and I just finished our first racing weekend of the season. It cost about $1,200, (gas, tires, parts, fees, etc…) so we’re financially broke. And I crashed during one of my practice sessions and sprained my wrist and bruised the hell out of my shoulder/rotator cuff, so my body is a bit broken as well. Sure was fun tho 😃 ---

I woke up with a stiff neck yesterday, only the second one I’ve ever had in my life (the first was when I was a little girl and it was way worse). It only really bothers me when I try to sleep, when it hurts like hell. As a result, I only got a couple of hours of sleep last night and I’m stumbling around like a zombie today. I also had to take the train in to work today because I can’t look over my left shoulder to check for traffic before merging on the freeway. Sucks! Thanks for the opportunity to whine. ---
