I'm certainly no fan of_____, but you've got to hand it to them...

Flame on.

Rush Limbaugh.

From a music disc jockey who called himself Jeff Christie, to one of the most listened to, most reviled, and at the same time most admired radio talk show hosts in the world, Rush has made an art out of being controversial, being topical and current (if one-sided and occasionally downright mean), and most of all, making a butt-load (or would that be nose-load?) of money.

If only my Radio career had been that successful…

I’m certainly no fan of Mariah Carey, but she sure deserves a statue of her bust.

Bond. James Bond.

I tried to read one of the Iam Fleming books and found it boring drivel. There must be something to the books and the movies but I don’t see it.

Maybe any decent political adviser could have made Bush Governor or President, but winning the 2004 election took some serious skill. The shift toward extreme conservatism should have died in 2004, when it was apparent that tax cuts weren’t helping us, abstinence education was causing more anal sex and the administration has repeatedly lied about the situation in Iraq.

Instead it lasted two more years, and thats only because of the GOP and Rove could not spin Katrina, government phone taps, and the civil war breaking out in Iraq.

A rich woman?

The Nazis were just scary-good at all kinds of graphics and design; they could do more with simple graphics than almost anyone before or since, and their design of cities (i.e. what the new Berlin was supposed to look like, before the Allies took it all apart with high explosives) was both visually stunning and an engineering marvel for the late '30s when it was done. I guess Albert Speers knew a thing or two about how to make a city look fantastic and work well.

Miller said it best:

I’m no fan of USC, but I sure as hell made sure my dentist went there.

(My GP is a Bruin though.)

I hate the company that screwed me out of my last consulting gig, but they make damn fine pacemakers.

I hate it when people do that!
I’ve been awake all night wondering …was she good at juggling?
Was she good at doing impersonations of minor celebrities if they ever had cause to speak in an Irish accent and pretended to have falsetto voices?

Did she have a special talent for training ferrets about to be released into the wild?
Its driving me insane !what exactly was she good at ?

Yes I agree about the Nazis(except for their architecture) ,on the evil front the Soviets and Maoists were just as evil but for style !

How could people so evil have such shit uniforms? They had literally NOTHING going for them !

Oh, and worst of all was the Soviet architecture. Why did every damn thing have to be rectangular and made of naked concrete? Ick. How could this be the same nation of people who built the Kremlin and St. Basil’s?

Same thing in England. They built the wonderful St Paul’s Cathedral, they built Big Ben and Parliament. They also built rubbish tower blocks of nothing but concrete that turn ugly gray when wet, which exist as nothing more than a future demolition site and crack-scoring area. Awful.
