# I'm coming to Sacramento(ish), any Dopers wanna meet me?

I realize I’m not exactly a high profile name, but I thought there might be a few NoCal Dopers out there interested in a Dopefest. My rich uncle is sending me to Travis AFB for seven weeks, starting the 21st of this month, and I’ll be working 12 hour shifts, which should give me quite a bit of time and flexibility for a get together. Anyone interested?
I’m also planning some trips to various CA sites, mostly things like hiking in the Redwoods, etc. Anybody interested in accompanying me on some day trips?

I live in Sacramento. We could see if anything could be worked out. I am carless at the moment though, so… Anyhow, my e-mail should be in my profile or I’ll just keep checking this thread.

Well, I was going to ask if the girl-child could sit so we could come up and see you. But the kids were very cuddly last night, so we watched a movie and sipped champagne instead. Don’t worry, I’ll keep an eye on **Bluesman** while you’re gone… the guys are going out tomorrow if he’s interested. Maggiano’s for dinner.

Aww, shoot. He’d love to, but has to work both tomorrow and Thursday. Thanks for watching him while I’m gone. The girl-child would be happy to sit anytime you wanted to drag him out!

Demo and I might be up for doing something in the next month or so.
If you have an idea of where you’d like to hike, we might be able to join you for a day trip. Or we might be able to swing a mini-dopefest in the Sacto area.

Well, I definitely want to hike in the Redwoods. Also possibly Yosemite, though that looks as though it may be a bit of a drive. But I’m up for closer, less well known places, too. Do you have any suggestions?
