I took Spanish in high school also, and 2 semesters of German in college, altho the 2nd semester was taught by an idiot grad student who almost killed my love of languages. At one point, I also knew how to introduce myself in Japanese, but no longer. \*\*rosie \*\*- it’s not correcting - it’s fighting ignorance! 😛 And now, back to the fun and frolicksome world of AutoCAD!!! 😃 ---

Up Blurf Getting there gotta commence irk in 6 minutes I took Spanish in HS and college, but in college our instructor was French and we all couldn’t even understand her English, let alone her Spanish. She also ran on European time which meant she was late for class everyday and couldn’t understand why we had to leave on time (to make it to our next class). I can count to ten and say ‘no tengo dinero’. ---

Glad FCD found his phone charger. I have one that stays in the kitchen, one in an overnight bag, one in twuck’s console, one in 'Stang’s console, plus car chargers in both twuck and 'Stang. I think I might be a little anal about phone chargers. 😃 ---

Like a Good Neighbor, April is There! My neighbor came to my door this morning needing a jump. Her husband had been changing a tire and had the radio running and it killed the battery in their van. She was an hour late to work! Good thing Super April and her Kia Supreme were there to save the day! ---

But anyways, after I deliver it I’m going SHOPPING!!! 😃 The lunch is about 20 minutes away from a mall with one of my favorite stores. (Normally about a 1 hour 10 minute drive.) Then I’m going to the big restaurant supply store. I’ll be broke after all of that so I guess I’ll just have to come back home. 😃 ---

Of course my battery life is much better since I learned how to shut down the eight million apps my kids have launched, then left quietly running in the background. So today is super exciting - we’re getting all our gutters replaced! Wooooo! Party! Please pray to Og for me that not too much of the underlying woodwork is rotten. ---

Oh good grief - I’ve got 2 coworkers who are \*NUTS \*- they’re discussing how Dr. Oz is a cop-out because he says organic food isn’t any different from any other food, then they’re going on and on about how wheat is addictive :rolleyes: and how white rice is actually better than brown rice and pretty much all manner of BS. Apparently we’re all allergic to wheat also. :rolleyes: There are few things sillier than than people who latch on to food fads, especially based on what they hear on TV. I’ll probably do well to get noise-canceling headphones… ---

I kept asking her if she was all right and her first words were “Crap - now I’m sober again! It’s going to take me another $20 to get my buzz back!” I do zombie and other various events with her ---- she’s a real trooper. Another was before that when a herd of us went into Images. Erica, another Santa friend, hit the bar and the bartender asked her what she wanted. Her exact words were “Something different and fruity”. His exact words were “I’d just break your heart. Now if you have a brother at home ---------” Everyone howled and she brushed as red as her dress.
