I still have to formally graduate, but all my coursework & requirements are done! I’m still toying with grad school, but for now I’ll try to find a job. It took me 5 full years (because I added a minor fairly late and the scheduling of classes conflicted a bit with some classes in my major; and I took some classes that didn’t count for anything, they were for fun), but it flew by fast. I’m sad in a way, because I’ll miss the people and the whole routine of learning. One major life goal crossed off my list! Oh yeah: BS geology, minor in GIS/cartography. It was hard!! ---

Having graduated last December, the first thing I thought of was how much I was going to miss the routine of going to class, assignments, class presentations, taking notes, lectures, buying books, writing term papers, etc. Don’t get me wrong, it’s great not to have to do homework anymore, but college really was the best time of my life. All in all, if I could go back and do it all over again, I would in a heartbeat. Call me crazy, but I still miss it. People have told me that since I miss it so much, I could always go back for my Masters. True, I could, but it wouldn’t be the same. Four years of undergrad was FUN! ---

Congratulations! I remember that feeling, of “Now what?” and having to get used to a work routine instead of a school one. I also remember saying I was done “forever” too. I’m in my second year of my second undergrad degree now. ---
