I have a fairly severe dyslexia, enough to have been a major concern when first in school. I cope with it almost unconsciously now though. Except when stoned or drunk. Then it comes out as though I can’t read or write past a 2nd grade level. What’s really funny though, is my friends tell me my accent (speaking, not typing) gets more and more unintelligible the more wasted I get. Apparantly, my ex longtime GF/SO used to translate for me when it got really bad. I don’t drink near as much now and rarely ever get high anymore. I can have fun in other ways. But, still, sometimes I do. ---

Heh, I don’t think having the tone of these boards raised is a bad thing either. I come to the 'Dope for intelligent discussions with a hint of humour thrown in here and there. I go to the other party boards for, well… parties! ---

I very rarely drink, and when I do, the most I’ve been is slightly tipsy (well, since my wild youth that is, and even then, only a few times were enough to know better :D), but I do post when it’s really late and I’m very very sleepy. I don’t notice too many more typos than my normal fair to middlin’ typing, but I DO notice a lot more grammatical errors, or occasionally misuse of words (that I know DARN well when not incapacitated). Also a few “clumsy keyboarding” errors like missing a letter. But I think that’s due to the combination of sleepiness and the teensy little laptop I have. I don’t notice it so much on my desktop. ---

Aw. I just missed you online, **Aesiron**. I’m usually too involved with trying to touch and kiss everyone I see to get online when I’m drunk. Plus, I don’t drink when I’m alone, it depresses me, and if there are people around, I’m probably not going to disappear on the computer for awhile. Posting while sick, as I am now, is another story alltogether. ---

I use a spool chocker. As a result my posts are fairly literate drunk or sober. ---

I never claimed to be perfect. 😛 It’s the morning after now and I feel fine. I have a bit of headache but that’s not uncommon, even when I haven’t been drinking. My kitten does seem to be afraid of me now though… ---

Hmm, I appear to be a little tipsy. Not due to excessive consumption, but down to a slight lack of food. I ate breakfast at 10 am (2 sausages, 2 scrambled eggs, and a toasted slice of home-made bread), and nothing at all since. Then at 10pm I cracked into three bottles of San Miguel. Hmmm. Think I need to eat something. ---

Gjosh, I’d love to participate in this discussion, but as I started reading this thread, I was on my first beer of the evening, and I only had two more in the fridge. Now, I can get drunk on three beers (well, moderately drunk) if I chug them, but seeing as how my tummy was a bit tipsy last night and into this morning, I didn’t think chugging three beers would be a particularly good idea. I think one of these days, we should plan a virtual party thread where every participant is supposed to be at least good and tipsy ('course, I dunno how the mods would feel about it. Would it get shut down? Would people get banned?). Just a thought, though. ---

Probably half of my posts are made when I’m totally sloshed. I think people will be pretty hard-pressed to guess which ones (if you want a hint, I’m typically LESS of an ass when I’m intoxicated… don’t know if that’d clear anything up, though!) ---
