A few nights ago, out of the blue, I had a craving for bacon and eggs for dinner. I went to the shop and bought some bacon but when I got home discovered that I had used all the eggs. Instead I made toasted bacon and tomato sandwiches. They were great. ---

I used to work with a Muslim from Guinea who was kinda shaky on the whole don’t drink/don’t smoke/don’t screw around edicts but firmly stuck to the don’t eat pork bit. Until he came here and smelled bacon cooking for the first time. As he put it, “There’s no way that something that smells that good can be that bad.” Fortunately, someone introduced him to turkey bacon before he damned his soul to hell. ---

I love, love, love bacon. In the days when I went to Old Country Buffet for breakfast (don’t hate me), I would load up on the bacon. I always amazed myself at the amount of bacon I could eat in one sitting. 🆒 ---

Aaaah! Bacon! Takes me back. As a boy, bacon was a Saturday morning ritual in our house. Dad would get out the big, black cast-iron frying pan, & feed me, my two little brothers & my baby sister, all the bacon we could eat. We’d make bacon sandwiches on white bread, coat em with ketchup, & gobble them down like a nestful of baby birds being fed. ---

Bacon that shatters when you touch it is overcooked & dried out. Methinks I’ll be having a BELT (Bacon,Egg, Lettuce & Tomato) sandwich for breakfst tomorrow. ---

Crispy bacon is **AWESOME**! I made pancakes, bacon, and eggs for dinner the other night. Fortunately, I was the only person at dinner who really liked bacon, so I was able to eat almost the entire pound all by myself. ---

At my bachelor party, two of my friends had a contest. One had to eat a side of bacon for every bloody mary another drank. After 6 bloody mary’s and 18 strips of bacon (3 in a side), one was pretty drunk and one was pretty full. ---
